Running a website like Animeshout, isn’t exactly cost free. Because our site has embedded videos we are using bandwidth like it is going out of fashion.
We have to pay for this bandwidth somehow along with other server costs, like the domain name, hosting service etc. We’ve been surviving on Ad revenues but server costs have gotten a bit more expensive, compared to what they were a few months ago. Again this is due to the site popularity. So any amount of money received via donation is a real help.

Also, Any money that we have left after server costs which we receive via donations, will be used to help run competitions, these could include winning an Anime DVD in your region, a manga novel, Anime boxset, posters and other Anime merchandise.
